Community & Supporters

The people and partners who make our work possible every day.

Our school is built on strong relationships. Supported by families, local businesses, and supporting partners, we work together to help our students grow, build confidence, and learn practical life skills.

Our Founders

Back in October 1988, Ms Maureen Corrigan, a Canadian volunteer founded our school to ensure children with learning differences in St. Andrew’s Parish had access to tailored education in their own community. What began with just five students in a small corner space grew into the dedicated institution we are today. We deeply appreciate our founders for taking those first vital steps.

Parents & Families

Families are at the heart of our school. We keep the doors open and communication easy with parents and guardians, working together so every student feels right at home, confident, and supported.

Our Local and International Partners

Our work is made possible through the generosity and involvement of our community partners. From international charities to local businesses across St. Andrew's, we work together to support our school.

The Sunshine Foundation (UK Charity No. 1133232)

We work in a close, long-standing partnership with The Sunshine Foundation. Beyond helping fund our programmes, their team works hand-in-hand with us year-round. Foundation volunteers make a point to drop by and spend time at the school whenever they are in Grenada on a trip. More Info

Corporate Partners

Republic Bank (Grenada) Limited

Through their Power to Make a Difference initiative, Republic Bank has helped us upgrade and expand our physical space to better serve our students.

We work in close partnership with local businesses across St. Andrew's Parish who help us turn our World of Work Programme and vocational skills training into a reality. By hosting our older students for practical work experience each week, they give our young adults hands-on experience and real-world confidence.

Local Business

Grenville Cooperative Credit Union

An official sponsor of SASSE, actively supporting our school community, infrastructure, and student activities.

Individual Supporters

We are very grateful to individual donors like Omar Barrett from Maryland, who generously sends annual shipments of essential school supplies to help equip our classrooms, ready for our students.

Other partnerships

Through a valued partnership with SeekAid, our students received much needed donations of football boots, helping promote active play, physical well-being, and sportsmanship across our school community.
